IT’S SUM OF YOUR BUSINESS!

On February 21, 2025, African Enterprise hosted an event the Christian Women in Business Networking Event, themed “She Works by Faith, She Believes, She Builds, She Achieves.” This first-of-its-kind event aimed to establish a women’s business networking team, bringing together like-minded women whose businesses are built upon a foundation of faith in Christ, with a focus on advancing the Kingdom of God. It served both as an opportunity for women in business to connect and support one another, and as a promotional event for African Enterprise (AE), fostering a spirit of financial support for AE’s ministry.

Our AE Team of Danica Dorasamy (Partnership & Relations Manager), Londeka Gasa (Community Worker) and Rachel Mchunu (Foxfire Administrator).

The event centred on showcasing the businesses of the women present, allowing them to share their work with one another while drawing inspiration from each other’s successes and journeys. It also served as a platform for women to build meaningful connections that could propel them forward in both business and faith.

One of the highlights of the event was an inspiring message from AE associate and former staff member, Pearl Pillay. She delivered a powerful reflection based on Matthew 9:20-22, reminding the women not to be defined and known by their challenges or struggles but to reach out to Jesus for healing, help, and restoration. Pastor Pearl encouraged the attendees to never settle for limitations but to trust in the strength that comes from faith in Christ for them as individuals and for their businesses.

The event concluded with a heartfelt time of prayer, where the women gathered to pray for each other’s businesses, lifting one another up in faith.

This act of collective prayer not only solidified the bond between the women but also laid the foundation for future collaborative efforts.

Looking ahead, the hope is that this core group of businesswomen will use this event as a stepping stone to create more networking opportunities, bringing in more women who are passionate about advancing God’s Kingdom through their entrepreneurial endeavours. The ultimate goal is to see these women continue to thrive in business while supporting AE’s ministry and contributing to the larger vision of spreading faith-driven success.

She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks.
She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night. PROVERBS 31: 17-18
